Thick MDF boards
Medium-density fibreboard (MDF) is an engineered wood product formed by breaking down softwood into wood fibers, often in a defibrator, combining it with wax and resin, and forming panels by applying high temperature and pressure. MDF typically has a density of 600-800 kg/m³. MDF is widely used as the principle material for wood products such as household furniture, architecture interiors, floor materials, packaging materials and small-sized materials. Some customers may use it for casework, doors (very stable), plaques, mouldings, shelving, etc. Lizard Timber ™ supply primarily A Grade MDF, but occasionally get some B Grade MDF if available.
